The exact data available depends on the sources the beneficiary chooses to connect and the permissions they grant. AskMD organizes this information into a consolidated health view and uses it to provide personalized explanations, identify relevant questions or follow-up needs, and guide the beneficiary toward appropriate care, services, or benefits-related resources. Its AI capabilities can summarize complex information, recognize patterns across the available record, and generate plain-language guidance. The app is designed to support informed decision-making and care navigation rather than to replace clinical judgment. Beneficiaries control whether to connect data sources and whether to share information with a provider. Sharecare applies safeguards to protect information. Health information is handled in accordance with the beneficiary’s authorization, the app’s privacy practices, and applicable privacy and security requirements.
