It's sent to all people who automatically get Medicare because they're getting Social Security benefits before they're eligible for Medicare.

If you automatically get both

Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance)

, you'll also get a reminder letter about decisions you should make before your coverage starts.

When should I get it?

Reminder letter: 1 month before your Medicare coverage starts
