The shingles vaccine isn’t covered by Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) or Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance). Generally, Medicare prescription drug plans (Part D) cover all commercially available vaccines (like the shingles vaccine) needed to prevent illness.
