About service areas and ZIP codes
"Service area" is defined as: 1) the ZIP code associated with the physical address of the home health agency; 2) any ZIP code where the agency has provided patient care for at least one complete quality episode (from start or resumption of care to transfer, discharge or death) that ended in the current data collection period. A home health agency will appear when a search is conducted for any ZIP code in the service area.
