What is it?

This letter is sent to people who got the “Welcome to Medicare” package and are living in the United States and some U.S. Territories (the Virgin Islands, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa).

It’s a reminder to take action now and make the important decisions about your Medicare coverage that are explained in the booklet you got with your “Welcome to Medicare” package, before your Medicare coverage starts. If you’ve already made those decisions, you can disregard this letter.
