Recommended Action:
Updates can be made by using Internet-based PECOS enrollment process and by submitting a signed participation agreement to accept assignment for all covered services that you provide to Medicare patients. A paper enrollment form need not be submitted.

Note: To sign a participation agreement is to agree to accept assignment for all covered services that you provide to Medicare patients. If you are enrolled in Medicare but have not signed a participation agreement, you may complete the participation agreement during the annual Participation Enrollment period at the end of each calendar year. The agreement will be effective January 1 of the next year. New physicians, practitioners, and suppliers can sign the participation agreement and become a Medicare participant at the time of their enrollment into the Medicare Program.
