Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) covers the amount of ostomy supplies your doctor says you need, based on your condition.
Who's eligible?
People with Medicare who have had a colostomy, ileostomy, or urinary ostomy are covered.
Your costs in Original Medicare
You pay 20% of the Medicare-approved amount for the doctor's services and supplies, and the Part B deductible applies.
